Located in the Southern Caribbean sea, Bonaire is one of the ABC Islands (Aruba Bonaire Curacao). Outside of the "hurricane zone" at about 12' its the perfect Caribbean vacation spot, 365 days a year!
English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu (local dialect) are spoken throughout the Islands.

Local food specialties are often of Krioyo (Creole). A mix of Dutch, Caribbean, Indonesian and International Cuisine make up the mainstay of restaurant dining.
Caribbean Carnival is usually celebrated though out January and February.
Water sport opportunities such as sea-doos, boating, fishing, wind surfing, kite surfing, water skiing, kayaking and paddle surfing are abundant. To take a break on land enjoy, mountain biking and bird watching.
Of notable interest is the salt flats and resident Flamingos.
