Diving options on your Bonaire - Curacao charter

Domicil carries complete sets of snorkeling gear, but for diving enthusiasts there are lots of great possibilities.

Bonaire

Bonaire has some of the best dive spots in the world.
Upon arrival you can do some dives there with local dive clubs.
You are more than welcome to stay aboard Domicil while diving in Bonaire, but as there is no anchoring allowed in Bonaire the schip will have to stay in the marina. (at an additional charge)
You may want to stay a few days in a hotel to enjoy diving here.

Curacao

Take a tour in a sub marine!

A private sub marine will take you down to max 1000 feet!
It hovers over the coral reef and can take you to depths divers usually do not go.
It is a wonderful experience with a high 'James Bond' level.
The Sub is used on a regular basis by the Smithsonian Institute who have already discovered various new species.
We found it a once in a lifetime experience!

Turtle snorkeling on Klein Curacao

Klein Curacao has lots of turtles that can be seen while snorkeling of the boat. They swim in 3-5 meters of water and are not shy. A great experience!

Snorkeling at the sunken Tug boat

This tug boat sank a long time ago and is overgrown with coral.
There is plenty of fish around and if you bring some corn they will eat out of your hand.
The Tug boat lies at 5 meters and is a treat for both snorkelers and divers

Rendez-vous with DiveVersity

"1st of January"

Located at the far east end of the beach of Cas Abou. We will make a drift dive in eastern direction.
Once in the water the dive starts at the generate slope. Current will takes us in passed a reef covered with giant split pore sea rods.
Big schools of creole wrasses will surpass you in this dive. Chance on seeing hawks bill turtles. When divers experience is good, we might even visit the small cavern.
This dive also gives the opportunity for lion fish elimination.

Light house reef

Light house reef is located a the far west point of the Seldom reef. Starting at the shallow we visit the house of our nurse shark.
Slowly descending to a depth of 50 feet, we let the current take us along the wall. During the dive we have a good chance of encountering barracudas and large tarpons.

Harries hole

Dive site located close to the Santa Martha Bay. This blue corner will take your breath away. Specifically know for the large amount of soft corals. Regularly seen on the dive are large tarpons, stingrays and turtles.

The Witches kitchen

Located close to reef Sint Marie. A generate slope with a large amount of barrel sponges, which give you the impression of a witch kettle where all kinds of potions are boiled.
On the dive we will encounter turtles and moray-eels. Beautiful dive on one of the unknown place of Curacao.
